I have a question from a customer who is asking about the frequency of the oscillator in the BQ2002G they plan to use in a project. Any help for the question below would be appreciated.

We are finalizing the design of the rechargeable battery pack that uses a TI BQ2002G charge controller.
A question came up about the frequency of the oscillator in the BQ2002G. The datasheet only calls out a +/-12% tolerance for the ‘timing’ but never specs the oscillator frequency.
If the frequency is below 9khz then we would not have to obtain FCC certification on the battery pack—that is our motivation to know the oscillator frequency. I can infer from the datasheet that the frequency is most likely higher than 9khz but we need a more definitive answer.
Could you please contact TI and let me know what the base frequency is for the BQ2002G?
