Hi,

I am looking for a li-ion & Li-pol battery charger IC with inbuilt 5V booster.(5V booster to charge mobiles)

Current limit support should be minimum 0.5 to maximum 1 A.

Unfortunately i am not able to find proper part for my requirement.

Pls help me to find proper part.

My end product is something like 3.7V Li-ion based battery bank.

* looking for a single chip solution.

Are you boosting from the battery back to the charger input (i.e. USB OTG)?

HI Jeff,

I go through bq24140's datasheet.

It looks good but,my application is like a battery bank, still now i won't have any idea to use controller in it.

Also dual input is not needed.

I would like to use single micro USB connector to charge(Li-ion bat) & discharge (to charge mobile)

Just imagine a small cube with small Li-ion bat inside & single uUSB con(to charge & discharge) & 1or2 status indication LEDs.(This how my product should be)

Is there any other device which work in standalone mode?

On the bq24140, the dual input does not have to be used. You could use one input to charge and the other to boost but you will need an I2C host to control the bq24140.

We do not offer a standalone single cell charger plus separate boost converter. The bq24266 is a standalone charger with USB OTG boost from battery back to the input.
