BQ24195 battery charging problem

Hi,

I'm Using Bq24195 ic for Power pack. 

1. If the boost mode is ON and the output of PMID pin is 5.15V came but STAT pin is blinking and configured register mentioned below

REG00 = 0x32;      REG01 = 0x2B;    REG02 = 0x60;     REG03 = 0x11;    REG04 = 0xB2;   REG05 = 0x80;  REG06 = 0x02;  REG07 = 0x4B;

and get status is 

REG08 = 0xC0; REG09 = 0x00;

2. If Giving DC 5V input to given the VBUS pin Get the same (5V) output  to PMID pin then STAT pin is blinking and battery not charged.

REG00 = 0x32;      REG01 = 0x1B;    REG02 = 0x60;     REG03 = 0x11;    REG04 = 0xB2;   REG05 = 0x80;  REG06 = 0x02;  REG07 = 0x4B;

and get status is 

REG08 = 0x04; REG09 = 0x00;

Please Kindly resolve this problem and do the needful.

    Sathish, 

     

    STAT pin blinking means that there is charge suspend due to input over-voltage, TS fault, timer fault, input or system over-voltage. Faults in REG09 are cleared after being read. try to recreate the error and check the REG09 by readying twice and checking both value. 

    In configuration #2 described above, if 5V plugged into VBUS, that should match the value seen on PMID.  According to the register values, REG08 is indicating VBUS unknown. Are you using the TI EVM? Please check you jumper settings.

    No i'm not using TI EVM board But the circuit is designed based on bq24195 user manual. Here I'm  attached my circuit diagram as your reference. and i'm tried lot of times but the status is Still the same.

    This is my circuit and i tried a lot of time to recreate problem and seen the same result every time. i'm reading the status after the Interrupt is came from INT pin. please kindly do the needful.
