BQ24250 SYSOFF without I2C connection

in the DS is described that SYSOFF is programmable when the battery is removed from the chip and the leackage reduved to <1uA.

It seems that if the BQ is off, Vin=0 this is not the case. Is there a possibility to set the part into that mode when switching off without the use of the I2C programming. I2S is not available in this system. Goal is to reduce the leakage current when no USB charger is connect. Also not using a additional transistor.

Best wishes,

Olrik
