BQ25892: Voltage applied on pin 14 (NC)

Dear e2e Community,

My customer would like to implement a common footprint between our BQ25892 and our BQ24295.

In that case the pin 24 (NC) will correspond to the Vbus pin (of the BQ24295) ; meaning that a 12V will be applied to this pin noticed NC.

Is there an internal issue to connect something on this pin 24?

    It is not recommended to apply voltage to pin 24 of bq25892. Please add a 0ohm resistor for pin 24 for 892/295 compatible design. For 892, do not populate 0ohm resistor so that pin 24 is open. For 295, populate 0ohm resistor to short pin 24 to VBUS of 295.
