Problem in bq Evaluation software with EV2300 device

Hi,

We have used bq27200 battery monitoring chip in our customize design with AM335x. We are using 7800mAH cell in our product. I want to make bq27200  to learn actual capacity of this battery whenever device power cycle. In order to achieve this requirement i am using bq evaluation software using EV2300 device which generates ".gg" file which help us to find i2c settings for bq27200 after learning cycle.

Here, I am having some problem with bq evaluation software when I connected EV2300 to Win7 PC through USB and EV2300 to Target device (am335x) through i2c. Please refer attached brief connection block diagram.

In this case I think windows 7 was not able to detect EV2300 on USB port. So i moved to windows XP and install its device driver and then windows xp was able to detect EV2300 on USB port. Then i have installed bq evaluation software but it gave some error. Please refer attached error messages of bq evaluation software. 

In order to verify connection of EV2300 to PC through USB and EV2300 to target device (am335x) through i2c bus, I have install bq27x00 Battery Gas Gauge software which is working perfectly fine. Please refer attached snap.

Is there something i am missing for bq evaluation software ? I will appreciate your quick help.

    Hi,

    As I said in above post, bq27x00 Gas Guage  software was working perfectly with EV2300 tool but only in windows XP.

    I have successfully performed learning cycle of bq27200 chip to learn the actual capacity of our battery of 7800mAh.

    Refer attached snap,

    As you can see the value of LMD is 42146. So capacity learn by bq27200 is (42146 * 3.57) / 20 = 7523.061 mAh

    My question is, How to generate ".gg" file using this software ?
