I require a fuel gauge and an hour-counter for a 36V 8Ah LiSO2 primary battery. (12 series connected Lithium Sulphur Dioxide cells of 3V each).
The fuel gauge should only be powered when a switch is closed.
When the switch is opened (to save the battery from being drained), power shall be removed from the fuel gauge. The fuel gauge should then have the last data stored inside a flash memory.
When the switch is closed again, the fuel gauge should remember what the last count was and continue from there. This opening and closing of the switch could happen several times.
Is there a Texas fuel gauge I can use for this purpose?
