Before doing a learning cycle you need to have the correct ChemID for your battery along with correct battery parameter setting, have you done that?

Yes i have done that.Do i need to perform the learning cycle?

It depends on your application, so if your application requires high gas gauge accuracy then a learning cycle or cycles will help achieve such accuracy otherwise learning cycle is optional. I am also attaching the doc. below for achieving successful learning cycle should you considered doing so.
