I am trying to draw more than amps from a 8.7 two cell LiPoly pack. Anything above 8.7 amps shuts the battery down. I am trying to find a way to raise this level. I am using The battery management studio and the chip is a bq40z50r1

Hi,
Are you charging or discharging the battery?
Please check the datatsheet first of the battery to see the max charging and discharging current limit.

Hi Devon,

Can you provide an exported gg.csv file and a log from the gauge when you're increasing the dsg current? Is this on bq4z50EVM or custom PCB? If custom PCB, please provide schematic as well.
