EV2300: Bit or byte?

Part Number: EV2300

Hi friends,

I want to ask when EV2300 write data to BQxxx, according to bit or byte?

Best Regards,

  • HI Jenny,

The TRM of most of our gauges contains the section below:

the ev2300 only facilitates communicating with our gauges via bqstudio or any other means you choose.  So data can be sents in bytes or blocks (see TRM)

    thanks

    Onyx

  • Hi Onyx,

Thank you for your reply, it's helpful for me.

And the thing is that I purchased EV2300 debugger, I found that it could not implement I2C communication, and I test 4pin voltage is 0v. It demonstrated the port is broken?

    Looking forward your reply.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Jenny,
pin 4 isn't supposed to read a voltage. IT isn't broken. The i2c port of the ev2300 does not have pull-ups. Most of our EVMs have pull-ups for the i2c lines. If your EVM does't have pull-ups you can install pull-upss to the 3.3v rail in your ev2300 .

    thanks
    Onyx
