first I was able to read SOC registers. then I unclip the battery from board and then again clipped it to board.. now it is showing 0 only for all registers

Quick clarification, is there a reason you are using a G2? TI recommends using a G3 device as that is our latest FW.
Are you testing this with bqStudio or your MCU? Can you draw a block diagram of your setup? We will need some more information to debug this.
I would try to read a "Voltage" value first to make sure the I2C sequence is working on your side.
Make sure to have BAT_DET bit set. Refer to the bq27510-G3 TRM.
