That's a pretty old version. I'd try the latest one here:

I think I remember some older versions that didn't automatically install some necessary Microsoft DLLs.

Can you install in a new folder (or remove the previous folder installed and then reinstall)? Also what is the message that is in Chinese?

Hello,

It is unclear what is causing the problem. Can you be more specific, is the device online or offline, and is this happening with an EVM firmware from TI? The GUI will not be able to work with any firmware as it assumes a certain protocol and certain commands, if the commands are not supported in the expected way the behavior is uncertain. If you can provide more information that can help us to propose a solution.

One suggestion I may have is that if you have changed the firmware to remove support for some PMBus commands please update the command bitmask which tells the GUI which commands are supported. It may be that the bitmask is saying a command is supported and you no longer have the implementation in the firmware and the GUI tries to communicate and it causes a problem. The bitmask in the firmware is what tells the GUI what it can do with regards to PMBus.

I used offline, just when i closed the project and software, then i want to open it again ,it happens, then i reinstall the software, it works.

I believe your issue is in the discussion of the other thread started by you?

The issue by the original poster on this thread has to do with running the GUI communicating with the firmware on startup.

i just can open this software one time, it cannot work second time i open this software. but when i reinstalled it,i can work.

Hello,
When you open the software what do you do during your session before closing? Like which sample file or what are you loading? After the session closes it stores some of your preferences in the data folder and tries to restore it when launching the next time. This is probably why it crashes on starting up again. If you are installing to the same location every time it may have built up a number of things in the files and could be an issue so you can try installing to another location on your hard drive to see if it works every time you open it. If it does then I would suggest simply deleting this data folder which is usually here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\Fusion Digital Power Studio\data

If the issue continues can you zip the data folder and attach it here and I will try to reproduce.
