LM5018 Buck Regulator high voltage ripples

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5018, LM5108

Dear all,

I am Kishor designs Battery Management System in Korea. I am using LM5018 isolated buck regulator in BMS board.

Input Voltage range : 20V to 90 V

Output current :  100mA

acceptable Output voltage : 2.5 to 5.5 V

I use same circuit as given in "AN-2239 LM5018 Isolated Evaluation Board" expect below few changes.

1. changed RBF1, RBF2 values to get 4.92 volt output.

     RBF1 = 1K, RBF2 = 3K

2. RON = 160K

At low voltage I can see normal  output voltage with max ripple voltage = 4.7 V which is acceptable.

But for  >70V input more than 6 Volt output ripple is observed which breaks next device LDO.

Can any one please share how to remove this high voltage ripples from output. Please refer the attachment of clear understanding.

Thanks in advance

Kishor
