lm2588

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2588, UCC28700, LM5021

Hi.

If i want an isolated flyback (2 different ground) with LM2588 i think i must use an optocoupler.

How to manage it ?

Thanks.

Mario.

  • Hi Mario,

If you need to have the secondary (output) of the power supply isolated from the primary side (input) then you can look at LM5021 part and reference designs and the UCC28700/10 parts.

What is the input voltage range and is the supply AC or DC? What type of application is it and power level?

    Regards

    Peter
  • Hi Peter.
It's a dc-dc, medical application.I start from 24V (or maybe 12V) and i must have an output (isolated ground) of 150V .Power peak of 0.150A for 3ms and 0A for 10ms, therefore a average power of about 5W.
    Thanks.
    Mario.
