Is there any one who can help me to design a power supply with input range 24VDC-240VDC and output 240VDC,0.2A.

Akshay,
Wow-that is a wide input range. Do you require isolation? What is the application? Is this a solar array?

Hello John,

My application is that, I require a power supply for Charging a capacitor which will drive a coil( impulse load of 200W for 50ms max. ) in switch gear application.

The coil will be operated maximum twice in one minute.

Akshay,
do you require isolation for safety in this application? (wondering if this needs to be just a boost converter or flyback).
