requirement of PFC controller

Hi Team,

My customer is looking for a PFC controller that meets the following requirement.

- single phase PFC
- control method: CCM
- supports external synchronization

Could you tell me recommended ICs?

You can use the UCC2817A or the UCC2818A pfc controller.
A method of synchronizing the part is detailed in this document:

Thank you for your support.

It seems UCC2817A / UCC2818A uses current-sense resistor.
Is there any device that meets the following requirement and uses current-sense transformer(CT) as UCC28070?

Thanks to your advice, my customer is considering UCC2817A consrtuctively.

I would like to ask one more.
Is the application note that you show me applicable for UCx854?

Hi Yaita-san,
The document about synchronization is not applicable to the UCx854 since the UCx854 has a trailing edge modulation and the UC2817 has a leading edge modulation.
The second document about current sensing is relevant to both of these controllers.
