PMP10885 reference design : Fuse 125V !

Hi all

I just noticed that the F1 fuse (0452003 from Littelfuse) of your PMP10885 reference design is rated at 125V  while the design input range is 85 to 265VAC !

I know that CHEVRON and AEM are manufacturers which are offering  SMD fuses in 2410 size, rated at 250V. Let me know if you find alternate parts with these specifications.

    Hello John,

    I reviewed the data sheet the little fuse and it is only rated for 125V DC and should have been rated for 250V AC or greater. Eaton makes some 250V AC fuses as well.

    I will track down the reference designer of PMP10885 so he can look into getting this fixed for you.

    Hello John,
    I notified the reference designer that the fuse was not rated for a high enough voltage. I have asked him to get this corrected when he has a chance. However, I am not sure if he can find a fuse in the package that he used.
    If use the layout of the PMP10885 reference design, it will most likely need to be modified to support the larger fuse.
