UCC29002: circuit review

Part Number: UCC29002

Hello

One of my clients is using the UCC29002 for this project.

It seems to me that it was applied with the right design values.

Could you please take one more review?

When LOAD SHERE is used, it will use the same circuit as below circuit.

I will deliver the corresponding schematic file.

  • Hello Andy,

Have you consider the leakage current of the Q203 when the system do not work at current sharing mode?

can you connect Q203 ds directly?

attachment is a recommend design, hoping it can help you. thanks.

    Best regards,

    Hello David,

    Thank you for quick response.

The output of the schematic you sent is 12V. Do you have a circuit diagram written with a high output voltage of about 50V?

Is tr not necessary for high voltage solutions?

The datasheet's high voltage circuit configuration uses tr.

    Please confirm.

    Thank you.
  • In reply to KIM Andy:

    Hi Andy,
I am sorry that I also can not find a reference for the output voltage at about 50V.
But indeed this IC can be in the 50V output condition .
You have to make sense of the supply voltage of the IC. The recommend max VDD is only 13.5V, so maybe you have to add a aux power (around 4.575~13.5V) to the IC.

I am sorry about the "tr" you mentioned, so what is "tr" ?
