TPS65132S: Output voltage

Guru 20090 points
Part Number: TPS65132S

Hello

I think that the TPS65132B output voltage is updated as new voltage, when we write the new voltage value to the device and turn off the device.

For example, If we updated the voltage of TPS65132B from +/- 5.4V(Pre-Programmed output voltage) to +/- 5.5V then powered off the device.
The default output voltage is updated to +/-5.5V.

Is my understanding correct?

  • Hello Ryuji,

This depends in which memory you program the output voltage. If you program the voltage in the volatile (DAC or RAM) memory the default voltage will not change. If you program the voltage in the non-volatile (EEPROM) memory (refer to chapter 8.5.2: Write Data to EEPROM) the default voltage will change.

    Best Regards.
