Hi

We are currently looking at using the TLC5948A  16CH/16b PWM driver in an experiment.

But we lack application note on how to interface the device with a micro-controller and example driver software.

hope you can help me with the following questions:

 -Can two or more output channel be connected in parallel to increase LED drive current?

 -Is there an explanation why the LED input voltage (VLED) is limited to 10V?

    Hi,

    For your two questions:

    1. Yes, you can connected the OUTx for current increasing. But you need to notice that there are small group delay between each OUTx.

    2. This part is mainly designed for LED signage, usually we only have 1 LED seies, so 10V is enough for this applicaiton.
