dear Sir 

We have a requirement for Vin=26~60V to 24Vout / 4.2A (common cathode)

do you have suggest solution and reference design??

    Hello Kai,

    The LM3409 is a very simple device to use. In fact the easiest way is to start with the HV EVM. All you would really need to do is increase the ratings for the FET, inductor, and diode for the higher current and change the current sense resistor value. You may need to adjust ROFF a bit to keep the switching frequency from getting too high at 60V input, but your output voltage is lower so possibly not.

    There are other higher current reference designs on the web as well that are somewhat close to what you need.
