TPS65100 Vcom buffer voltage.

Hello,

We have designed  a circuit for LCD driver. We are getting voltages for VGH, VGL and +19V as per design but Vcom buffer voltages are not as per our requirement. The voltages obtained across Vcom are 0.63V rather than 4.75V

Also we have Tried to Manipulate the value of R8 and R9 (For Example R8= 100K and R9 =135 K to obtain Approx 5.5V). Still we were not able to get those voltages from Vcom buffer.

So can u guide us regarding how to get voltages from Vcom buffer.

  • Hello Dave,

Is it possible that the -10V is not in regulation? The negative charge pump is supplied from the +9.5V you have and therefore I expect that VGL does not reach -10V. Vcom is not allowed to start until all output voltages are in regulation.

    Best regards,
    Brigitte
