TPS7B4250 - similar part with higher 200mA output?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7B4250-Q1, TPS7B4253-Q1

Great part, but the 50mA is a bit low for my application, are there any similar LDOs with higher (200mA) output current?

Thanks!

  • Hi Peter,

Thanks for the interest!  We do not have a 200mA voltage tracker at this time; however, we may still have a device that could work for you depending on your application.

Could you please share your input voltage requirements?  Any other information that you feel comfortable sharing would be helpful as well!

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan

  • Hi Peter,

I am the system/application engineer of automotive value line, TPS7B4250-Q1 is the part belongs to our team.

We are now developing the 300mA version tracking LDO, TPS7B4253-Q1, samples will be ready by mid of 2014. Would you please send me an email off-line? So I can share the preliminary datasheet with you.

  • Hi Ryan

    Thanks for the response.

We have a few rails that need low noise/high PSRR 4.3V-4.8V, depending on the logical state of the controller. Input is 5.3V from boost converter at 1.6MHz.

Currently the leading TI contender for us is TPS79301. However we are a little bit concerned with noise coupling at feedback if we use add a FET at the FB.
