TPS74701 and TPS74801 have discharge circuit in SS terminal ,respectively.

Could you tell me the typical resistance value in deischarge circuit ?.

The typical value of resistance is 700 ohms.

Hi Ryan,

Please let me ask about soft start discharge function.
I understand that this circuit is activated when EN goes Low and discharge Css. Then does output capacitor also discharged throw to OUT pin?

I hope TPS74701 has output discharge function.

Sonoki-san,

TPS74701 does not have an active discharge for the output capacitor. The output capacitor will discharge through any load resistance and leakage paths. It is possible to make an external active discharge circuit with a FET and resistor.
