Min/Max specs for different temperature grade parts of the TLV431 over temperature

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV431

Hi,

The datasheet for the TLV431 specifies different min/max values for the device depending on the temperature grade (C/I/Q). I have two questions:

  1. What happens to the industrial device (-40 to +85C) if it is operated above +85C -> any failures, or just poorer specs / performance? The reason for not moving to the Q part (125C) is because the specs are a fair bit wider for the Q part and the datasheet is not clear what the values are within the -40 to +85C range. Leading to question 2:
  2. Is it safe to say that the Q part (-40 to +125C) has similar / the same specs as the I part (-40 to +85) over the -40 to +85 range? In other words, the max value for the I rated device at +85C is 1.278V -> will the Q part have this same maximum below +85C and then it climbs to 1.286 as it goes to +125C? The min seems to indicate otherwise - is there any data on this?

Thanks!
