Hi Team,
The datasheet shows the following.
Is temparature range of LM4040QBIM3X2.5 Ta=-40~85℃ because temperature grade is "I"?
If my customer wants Ta=-40~125℃, which LM4040-N-Q1 should he select for B grade(±0.2%)?
Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty
Hi Yaita,
You are correct, the "I" you highlighted denotes the industrial temp range, -40C to 85C. The extended temperature range (-40C to 125C) is only available for C,D,and E grade parts.
The LM4050-N-Q1 (www.ti.com/.../lm4050-n-q1) does have a B grade option in extended temp range. This part offers a lower temperature coefficient (50ppm/C) while maintaining auto qualification. LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB is the part number you would be looking for.
Another option for a 2.5V reference around 0.2% initial accuracy over -40C to 125C temperature range is the LM4030 2.5V C grade, which is actually +/- 0.15%, and has a much lower temperature coefficient of 30ppm/C max. Note that the LM4030 is not auto qualified.
