I want to know about TLV1117.

Can I use ceramic capacitor when I choose  output capacitor of  TLV1117.

    Hello Takahiro-san,

    The TLV1117 is typically stable with a tantalum or electrolytic capacitor as described on page 10 of the TLV1117 datasheet.
    You can also use a ceramic capacitor if you add a series resistance to increase the effective ESR of the capacitor.

    Typically the recommendation is to add a 1Ohm resistor in series with the ceramic cap to help with stability.
