how to boost from 3V to 12 V?

Hi,

Is it possible, to boost voltage from 3V to 12V.

I will use duty cycle aqual to 0.75. So how I can choose the value of the inductor and the PWM frequency.

Also is there an TI component that i can choose?

    There are different parts available that can be used for this purpose, dependent on the output power you need. Please have a look on the TI Power page http://power.ti.com. There you can input your requirements on the right side and search for the right part.

    Please go to www.ti.com and click on the Power Management link.  Use the quick search function to enter electrical requirements.  The tool will show you all ICs that meet those electrical requirements.   If you have limited power experience, I suggest using that ICs EVM design or contacting a contractor for detailed design.
