Hi,

We are using TPS51113 for 12V to 3V3 conversion on our card. It is observed that, at specific instances 3V3 do not come up in spite of the circuit being proper, but 3V3 might come up on subsequent power up of the card with out any change being done.

Can you please clarify on, what might be the reason, causing this and brief on, how it might be related to the start up sequence or enable signals of the IC?

Can you post your schematic? Do you have any waveforms that show the failure to start up? Any switching on the SW node? Are there signals present on the gate drives? Also TPS51113 is not recommended for new designs.

Hi,

This is an existing design and we are not able to re-create the failure situation, because of which waveforms are unavailable.

I don't see anything obviously wrong with your schematic. If you cannot re-create the issue, then it is not possible to speculate on what could have happened.
