TPS560200 current limiting resistor for 12V 5A Input power supply

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS560200

Hi,

I am thinking of using TPS560200 Buck Converters for 3.3V 200mA on-board power supply. A 12V 5A SMPS will power up-to 3 such TPS560200 ICs/boards on the input side. Now, am wondering whether I should connect current limiting resistors on TPS560200 input side (Vin) just to prevent them from burnout since the power-supply is capable of driving upto 5A.

Can someone please help on whether a current limiting resistor is required and if required, what should be the resistor rating?

Regards,

Ravi
