Is it possible to use the SM72442 without AIOUT connected? Mppt will have to work with AIIN, AVIN and AVOUT. Thanks

Feyi,

Yes you can use the SM72442 without using the AIOUT. The AIOUT pin is responsible for setting the output current limit so if you are not going to use AIOUT then you should connect AIOUT pin to ground which will disable the output current limit. Let me know if you have any other questions.
