TPS-61032 PIN DISCRIPTION

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61032, TPS61230, TPS3803, TLC0820A

Respected Sir,

This is Gaurav Kothari From UK Electro Mech Systems, Mumbai, India.

We are in manufacturing of Electronic Lockers. We are  basically using a microcontroller with voltage range of 4.5 to 5.5 volt. but the supply voltage we have is from LI-Polymer battery which come in range of 3.0V to 4.2V. So i such case we are planning to use TPS-61032 - 5V Step up Booster IC.

We need your guidelines to clear out some confusion we are facing in designing the circuit.

The IC we are using is TPS-61032 16 pin PWP package.

There are 3 PGND pins (Pin 3,4,5) and a different GND pin (PIN 11). What the difference between  this PGND pins and GND pins. can i connect this both pins together with also thermal pad.

and also please let me know how can i program the LBI pin as if i need to alarm the signal when the battery voltage reaches 3.0V. what value resistor should be placed at pin LBI to make LBO pin Low.

can i place a LED at LBO pin using a transistor for low battery indication.
