Hi,

my customer is using this device from long time and he always found ICL current limit at 4.8A +-0.3A.

Now in the last lot(same datecode) he found 10% of the units at 5.8A ,while the rest is at 4.8A.

This value is still under the datasheet limit, but he was concerned, because this is creating an overcurrent protection activation in the previous stage.

Is it normal that we have such ICL variation within same datecode?

Any possibility to control ICL variation?

Can you also tell me how to read the datecode and the meaning of V5 at the bottom?

Based on data from the product engineer for this device, the variation is normal.

No changes have been made to the device or process.

There is no way to provide a tighter specification for this device.

If you wish, please send a photo of the package and we will read the date code for you.

here it is; I attached even before but for some reason it did not show up.

The datecode seems to be different from the std I saw before

The date code indicates that this was manufactured in Jan of 2015.
