Hello,

             if 12V input to 12V output, customer would like to calculate MOS power loos, We use buck mode or boot mode formula to calculate? Thank you.

    If you want to be accurate, you will need to use both buck and boost mode formula, because it is in buck-boost mode, namely the circuit operate in buck mode in one cycle, followed by boost mode in another cycle, and adding up for total losses.

    For a simple and conservative estimate, you can just use buck formula for the buck leg switches, and boost formula for the boost leg switches, ignoring the alternative switching of the two legs.
