TPS659037 unused SMPS pin connection

Hi,

In the AM572x GP EVM revision A3, the TPS659037's SMPS9 is not used and the SMPS9_FDBK pin is left floating. However, as per the datasheet, if not used, it is recommended to connect this pin to the ground.

Please tell me which connection is recommended.

Hello Prachi,

Either is ok, because the regulator is unused. Typically we recommend not floating unused inputs because it causes a higher ESD risk compared to connecting it to GND. If possible, I recommend connecting SMPS9_FDBK to GND.
