Hi expert:

I have got TPS659039 user guide and i can find that TPS659039 have 0x87, 0x85, 0x89 OTP.

At J6 EVM board use TPS659039 0x87. Now my customer want to cost down their design.

They want to select 0x85, because they can lock their A15 to 1.2Ghz and use 1GB memory.

Questipn 1: Whether 0x85 TPS659039 can meet customer request?

At my hand TPS659037 have 0x44, 0x60 and 0x6B, from the diagram 0x44 looks like match with 0x87, 0x60 match 0x85 0x6B match 0x89.

Question 2: Could you please introduce the function different of 0x44,0x60, 0x68 with 0x87, 0x85, 0x89?

    Hello Han,

    Question 1:
    Yes, 0x85 can support 1.2GHz A15, but you should double check the current for your use case. OTP 0x85 has 6A for MPU and 3A for DDR.

    Question 2:
    0x44/0x60/0x6B are for an older version of the processor specification where MPU can boot at 1.10V and CORE can boot at 1.06V. For the latest version of the spec, MPU and CORE should boot at 1.15V. So we updated each of the OTPs with this change.
    No other changes were implemented in these revisions.
