Hi All,

Example code is not there. Can you please share example code for  TPS65381?

    Hello,

    What kind of example code are you looking for? The device is configured using SPI. In general, you can configure the device while it is in the DIAGNOSTIC state, and then once the device is in ACTIVE state, you can read out the diagnostic registers as needed by the system. The state machine also shows which register bits need to be set to transition between states.

    What processor are you using? Typically TI does not provide code for safety critical PMIC's, however we have created some demo code that might be helpful. I will need to check to see if we have anything that would be of benefit based on your application.
    Can you supply more information about your use and or application?

    Hi Gordon Varney,

     

    Sorry for the delay. We had web-mail issue and our web-mail server was down. Hence I couldn’t able to reply. 

    We are using TPS65381 with TMS570 MCU.

     

    We need to enable power through TPS65381 to our ECU and we need to perform following operations

     

    • Monitoring Power Supply on regulators
    • Sleep Mode Configuration
    • Watchdog operation (Trigger mode and QA mode)
    • Diagnostic information
    • State machine implementation

     

    Can you able to provide demo code for my application

    Hi Yusup,

    The TPS65381A-Q1 and TPS65381-Q1 are functionally equivalent so the TMS570/Hercules TPS65381-Q1 drivers work with the TPS65381A-Q1 device. The drivers are part of the SafeTI Diagnostic Library (SDL), licensed for the TMS570/Hercules which is available at the following link:
    This library should have all the basic functions you need to use the TPS65381A-Q1 with the TMS570.
