LM2678 Simulation problem in Webench

Hi,

I am not able to simulate the LM2678 circuit used in my design. PFA schematic for your reference.

While changing the component values according to our design we are getting only Startup analysis.

I am not able to get BODE plot and Transient analysis.

Please suggest.

Hi Amarnadh,

Have you tried Webench to simulate and set up these parameters? Also, What simulation program are you using and where did you source the IC model from?

Hi Anston,

We tried with Webench. And while simulate we are changing the component values w.r.t our design and not able to simulate Load transient and Input transients, Bodeplot. We can able to simulate only Startup analysis.

We can able to simulate the above simulations with default values provided by Webench design.

Hi Amarnadh,

It sounds like you are using the Edit Schematic Button in WEBENCH to change the schematic. Currently if you use this we have to drop out the other sims as they are built upon constraints from the original schematic template and when we give you free form editing access many of these constraints can be broken.

We are currently working to give you more sim options when in this mode.

If your schematic is the same as the WEBENCH template with just different component values you can use the "Select Alternate Part" buttons on the BOM page to change component values and this will still allow you to do all the original sim types.

I notice you have a schematic already that looks like its in Orcad. You can download our stand alone model for PSPICE from the parts product folder and then run the sims in PSPICE which will currently allow you more flexibility with your simulation.
