LM2853 - Power Inductor Choice

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2853

I am looking at using the LM2853 in a project that I am working on. For my specific application the power inductor recommended is a Coilcraft

DO3316P-682. I went looking around and found another device. A Vishay/Dale IHLP2525CZER6R8M01 which is a 6.8uH 20% inductor with a sat current of 8A. The nice thing about this part is that it has a smaller footprint than the Coilcraft part. The big difference is the DCR values. The Coilcraft has a .028 ohm DCR and the Vishay/Dale part has a .060 Ohm DCR.

My question is, can the Vishay/Dale part be used as an alternative to the Coilcraft part if space is an issue?

Thank you,
