TPS386596: Resistor value for making threshold 3.15V on sense 1

Hello Team,

Actually i need to fix the sense 1 to threshold of 3.15V, So how much series resistor i should give.

Or give me the resistor divider value of sense 1 inside IC.

    You can not fix the threshold to 3.15V. The thresholds are already fixed to:

    so you can only use a resistor to set a threshold lower than 2.9V on SENSE1 and 0.4V on SENSE2,3,4. If you want a threshold of 3.15V, you can use another device such as TPS3808 or TPS3890 or TPS389x family which are all programmable delay devices. Or TPS3831 for low Iq. Or TPS386000 for a 4-channel voltage supervisor. Can I ask what is your application and your key desires?

    Why can not we fix this to 3.15V, Please share me the voltage divider resistor value of sense 1,

    By adding series resistor to sense pin we can change threshold , for this i need to know the voltage divider value.

    Please share me the detail.

    If you use a series resistor to change the effective resistance of the top resistor of the internal voltage divider, this could work. The internal resistance values are not available however. All that is available is the ratio between the top internal resistor and bottom internal resistor is 6.25 to 1 since the 2.9V threshold on SENSE1 uses a 400mV internal reference.

    As per the internal block diagram of TPS386596 there is a voltage divider, There you will be knowing the resistor values right.

    I would be helpful if you provide me the exact resistor value of those resistors inside IC.

    The exact values are not provided but SENSE1 supply current is 2.75uA at 3.3V so this would mean the internal resistance is around 1.2Mohm total. This means the top internal resistor is around 1.05Mohm while the bottom resistor is around 145k. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you!
