TPS3305: Electrical Connection for PowerPAD

I couldn't found any statement in the datasheet about how to connect the PAD.  Can I just leave it float or should I connect it to GND externally?

    Tao,

    Since this device operates with low power, you can connect to GND or leave floating. It is recommended that the pad is soldered down to either GND or floating.

    Please also see this previous E2E post:
    e2e.ti.com/.../50627

    The post recommends to connect the pad to GND but, because of the low power of this device, either will be OK.
