UCD90160A - Error Message - overflow or report as zero

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD90160A

I am using the UCD90160A to sequence several voltage rails. A few of these rails are over the IC's 2.5V monitoring limit, so I am using resistor dividers to bring them within the device's limits. I am getting an error on some of these rails which warns that the voltage reading might be overflow and reported as zero.

This is the error message, I've removed the specific values to generalize the question.

Rail #n: VOUT_MODE is set to 0x__ (exponent = -__, max voltage reading = __.___V. VOUT_COMMAND is set to __.___V, VOUT_SCALE_MONITOR is set to _.___, VOUT_CAL_MONITOR is set to _.___. Therefore the voltage reading might be overflow (__.___V) and reported as zero.

It is not clear to me how to fix this error.

Thank you in advance.
