Hello,

I'm looking for high side load switch:

fundamental properties:

- it will switch 1 A, 5 V

optional properties (from most important to least important)

- reverse current protection (even in ON state)

- low Rdson

- ESD protected

- overvoltage protected

Can you please recommend a part that fulfills as many declared properties as possible?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the question! It looks like either the TPS22910A or the TPS22912C would best fit your requirements.

-Both supports up to 5.5Vin with 2A continuous current.

-Both provide reverse current protection in ON and OFF states (do be aware of the reverse current voltage threshold)

-Low ON Resistance of 60mohm (typ) at VIN=5V (both)

-ESD protection includes 2kV HBM and 1kV CDM (both)

-It is not recommended to use the devices beyond Vin=5.5V. The absolute maximum rating for both is 6V.
