TPS22902: ON/OFF Transient Waveform

Hello Shinichi,

Thank you for posting the additional wave forms that helps out alot.

One circuit condition that stands out is #4 "When the main power is off, TPS22902 is powered from battery and ON/OFF control become Hi-Z". When the devices are left floating the On or Off state of the load switch is unknown. NG2.pdf looks like a good example of this.

For the NG1 and NG2 units: If the enable pin is tied to ground and you turn the input voltage on and off, do you see the same odd output voltage waveform?

Hi Nick,

The customer conducted additional test.

According to the test result, It seems ON/OFF pin floating caused failure.

If so, he must change current design.

I confirmed the customer.

1. He doesn't have desired rise time.
A general value is OK.

2.He doesn't any specific feature.
He only use general feature.
