TPS25944A: PGood signal when VIN absent but output high

Part Number: TPS25944A

Hello,

We're using two TPS25944A devices in parallel and want to use the PGood signals to know which one is supplying power. The PGood signals appear to be accurate so long as there is a voltage on the output pins, even if there isn't one on the input pins. Is this a valid use case? All testing so far shows that it works, but the functional block diagram of the part seems to imply that power for the circuitry is only intended to come from the VIN pin.

Thanks in advance,

Josh
