FDC2114-Q1: FDC2114-Q1/FDC2112-Q1 for proximity sensing in easy open trunk

Dears

We are searching for the solutions for easy open trunk in automotive,and we recognized the reference design of FDC1004 and FDC2112/4.

But we heard that some bug of FDC products,such as EMC problem of FDC1004/FDC2114/2,it‘s seem too difficult to pass EMC test.

Now we want to ensure that if we could use FDC2114/2-Q1 in the easy open system for proximity sensing.How difficult when it pass the EMC test?

Need your friendly advising.

    Hello,

    EMC is not a bug of FDC products. It is simply a topic that should be addressed in the system design process.

    EMC is sensor and system dependent, so the performance can vary significantly from one system to another. In general, it is more challenging for large or long sensors.
