Our design has used the HDC1050 and we are now transitioning to the HDC1080. Our initial tests show a large discrepancy (humidity measurement) between the two devices. When compared to a Humidity Reference, the HDC1080 is within 1-percent of the Reference, but the HDC1050 is up to 12-perent inaccurate.
I understand the HDC1050 humidity element was replaced with a more accurate one to produce the HDC1080, so I'm wondering if the HDC1050 inaccuracies are common? What would cause this large discrepancy?
