LDC1612EVM: Not able to connect to computer.

I think this is a duplicated thread. Were you able to verify the green LED on the EVM is turned on? The EVM should show up as a COM port device in Windows Device Manager under the name "EVM," would you be able to check if this is true on your machine?

Sorry just wanted to make a separate thread. The LED on the EVM does turn on, but the device does not show up when I look at my computer ports on device manager.

Hi Karim,

When you connect the EVM to your computer does windows show any signs of a device being connected? Windows will usually prompt with something like an "unrecognized USB device" when there is an issue with the hardware or driver.
You can force windows to look for a device by using the "Scan for Hardware Changes" option in Device Manager.

Have you tried using a different USB port on your computer? What version of Windows are you using?

If Windows is unable to detect any new hardware once you plug in the EVM and the EVM does not show up under COM ports in device manager. It is very likely the EVM you may have received is damaged.
