LDC1614: Spacer material

Hello,
my customer is working on a weight scale with LDC. He wants to glue the coils to the plate with a spacer material in between. This materilal should be flexibel and fast like a spring. Do you have any recommendation?

    Hello Holger,

    I'm not clear on the construction that is being proposed - is the sensor PCB supported from the bottom, with the compressible material above the sensors, and the metal surface on the top? If so, we have used 3M EAR open pocket air foams which can compress to <10% of their original volume and then rebound without memory. You may need to find a sufficiently dense version for this application.
