Hello,

We use the IWR1642 ES1.0.

2 out of 15 ICs respond low temperature as follows:

Incorrect response (2ICs): T1=17, T2=16, T3=15, T4=16, T5=21, T6=21, T7=20, T8=19

Correct response(13ICs): T1=30, T2=29, T3=28, T4=29, T5=34, T6=34, T7=33, T8=32

Is the quality of the ES1.0 products uneven?

Hello,

We want to know why this problem occurred.

For example, if the power supply voltage is different, do the temperature sensor not work properly?

In that case, where voltage should I check?

Hello Charles

We measured in the thermostatic chamber at +25 degrees Celsius.
We measured other temperature at -30 degrees celsius and +70 degrees celsius in addition.
The temperature sensor answer in lower temperature than ambient temperature .
What information should we provide about the setup of the boards?

Hi,

Can you please confirm if these are IC's placed on custom boards or IWR1642 booster packs?
Can you also run power measurements and other test on the 2 failing boards to ensure it is working properly?

Hello Charles

The IC is placed on our custom boards.

We confirmed normal RF power and so on excluding the temperature sensors.

Please tell us other necessary tests.
